Time enough I think for a new podcast:
Show & Tell Podcast 2 by yahtzee19
This one was recorded a while back and I've been sitting on it for various reasons, hence dated references to E3 and LA Noire, but now it can finally wing its wicked way into your ear sockets. In this, the second podcast officially termed Show & Tell, Gabriel and I discuss the merits of sandbox gameplay, pulp literature and heavy drinking, while arguing over how the format's supposed to work.
I've also invested a little in the hosting provider in order to allow unlimited downloads, so feel free to go nuts. This project is now officially operating at a loss.
Also, trivia night on Monday (the 27th) at the Mana Bar as usual. Less gimmicks this time!
ZPs: Witcher 2, Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Duke Nukem Forever (the real one)
XPs: Adventure games, E3 and E3 again
Hey, Yahtzee!
ReplyDeleteHow's Hershey's chocolate for you? People I know from the UK tell me it tastes like shit, although I'm very patriotic, and anyone who talks badly about products made in America have something wrong with them. Have I mentioned America was the first place to be discovered?
So, what's your take on Hershey's?
I miss the irreverent look on modern life you posted about in blog posts of old.
ReplyDeleteha ha, awesome podcast Yhatzee, I hope you do more of these, I was literally bent over laughing at one point. Britain misses you!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Can't wait to listen to it.
ReplyDeletechrist! really hope that doesn't happen to ya agian. I got that bed when I got hit by a really bad stomach flu (I won't get into details)
ReplyDeleteAlso would it be weird that if I said that the trivia night is happening on my bday?

ReplyDeleteA Hitchhiker's and a Doug Stanhope reference, you win Yahtzee! what do you win? absolutely nothing. congrats.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you mention the Kinder Surprise Eggs. They changed them here in South Africa a few years ago, now half the "egg" is chocolate sauce that you eat with a retarded spoon type thing they give you and the other half is a toy which most times is already built for you :/ I also miss the taste of that chocolate :'(
ReplyDeleteAnyway, awesome podcast :D
I immensely enjoy these podcasts.
ReplyDeleteHa! I love The Count of Monte Cristo. Yes, it's terrible and has like two characters with effective depth, but also bandits and betrayal and slave girls and endless cliffhangers! I also loved the mitchell webb biscuits superpowers reference. It IS a good sketch. Funny podcast, thanks.
ReplyDeleteFuck Gabriel, biggest douchebag pseudo intellectual I've ever heard.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little one of my mom's friends brought me back a kinder chocolate egg.
ReplyDeleteThe toy was some weird vacuum lady thing that moved her arms up and down when she rolled around. It looked like Lucy Ball's face on a purple vacuum.
I also remember wonder balls (What a great name for children's candy) from Nestle. They discontined 'em because some kid choked on the toy inside.
One of my European friends gave me one of those Kinder Eggs once, and I loved it. They are prohibited in the US because children here until age 14 try to eat anything that can fit in their mouths, and their parents are to lazy to explain to them that plastic is not a foodstuff
ReplyDeleteIce Age was by Blue Sky studios, not Dreamworks. Still, great podcast to listen to while shooting people in the face.
ReplyDeleteThis has to be on iTunes man. I must listen to this in the car and fap to it in the bathroom, if that makes you feel more motivated to submit it there, for some weird reason...
ReplyDeleteyour name is not strange, my family name translated in English is fetus, really
ReplyDeleteThe Archbishop of Canterbury when King George VI was crowned was named William Cosmo Gordon Lang, and he went by Cosmo until he was known as "Most Reverend."
ReplyDeleteThey said that Gods don't bleed. Does the same go for Goddess because if they don't does that mean they don't a period or are they already in menopause.
ReplyDeleteI now will rethink my first choice of offspring name of 'gabriel' after listening to this
ReplyDeleteWhen I listen to these I imagine Yahtzee as his cartoony stick figure guy with an awesome hat and Gabriel as... well I guess he could be a stick figure guy with a baseball cap or something.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff Yahtzee and Gabe! post more soon yea, we're dying for more.
ReplyDeleteOn a unrelated note if ur feeling like a break from gaming check out the casual Japanese anime Shin-Chan and keep an eye out for Whitey, shins' white dog. pretty funny chap!
Just discovered these podcasts.
ReplyDeleteI like them. Please make more.
Please make more of these
ReplyDeleteThese podcasts are awesome ! will we bw getting more.
ReplyDeletepleeeaaase pleeaaase make sum moar
ReplyDeleteI would love to hear more podcasts from these two.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Yahtzee would prefer, a fan trying endlessly to start a meaningful conversation when they don't actually have anything to talk about, or a fan endlessly criticising 6 days a sacrifice.
ReplyDeleteI went to Hayes Primary School and we would have assembly every day when they would tell a motivating story, once a week we would sing hymens with a fat teacher called Miss Green. Odd...
ReplyDeleteAwesome blog.Keep posting again and again
