ReplyDeleteApparently, in the original J version, this character really was called Alex Kid... Or rather, "Arexu Kiddo". It seems they're fond of using "western" names (that no one is ever actually called by). The J version of Catherine was still called Catherine ("Kyaserin!") and the main guy was known as "Bincento!" I guess the concept of the letter V passed them by.

ReplyDeleteHaven't had the chance to catch this one yet (just saw that it was up) but I'm looking forward to it. I loved the Dizzy LP. It's been a rough week and seeing this here has cheered me up. Oh, and I read Mogworld since my last comment and it was absolutely brilliant. Keep doing all that you do, Yahtzee! And Gabriel! Even though he didn't write Mogworld he's good too
